Step into a realm of enchantment as Cornwall Park comes alive with the mesmerising glow of lanterns at the Osmanthus Gardens Lantern Festival!
Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Osmanthus Gardens, where the reflections of radiant lanterns dance upon the waters, and the trees come to life with a magical glow. Listen to the harmonious notes of classical music, creating an experience that has become an iconic tradition in Hastings. Special performances take place each evening.
For eight enchanting evenings, from 6pm to 9pm, witness the transformation of Osmanthus Gardens into a magical wonderland. Wander the illuminated paths through the sparkling grass, and take in the traditional Chinese silk lanterns and large lotus lanterns floating on the garden lake.

Performance Programme
Sunday 12th & Monday 13th
A 21-piece choir visiting from Hong Kong will open our programme with a vibrant cultural performance.

Tuesday 14th – Thursday 16th
Britney Zhao and Christina Liu – both 12-year-old students from China, now studying at Woodford House, who will perform together on traditional Chinese instruments.
Jack Wu - Tai chi performer.
Friday 17th – Sunday 19th
Enjoy performances by Jia Ling, a renowned Guzheng musician and educator who returns for another year.
Originally from China and now based in Wellington, Jia Ling has performed at prestigious events including the Wellington Jazz Festival and at New Zealand’s Parliament House.
