Natalia Murray Presents Samuel Courtauld and His Collection

30 Te Mata Road, Havelock North

The associate lecturer at the Courtauld Institute of Art, independent curator and BBC presenter, Natalia Murray will share with us her intimate knowledge of the collection as she explores Courtauld’s collection and his role in promoting Impressionism in the United Kingdom. The Courtauld is one of the world's finest collections of Impressionist art. Courtauld began collecting in the 1920s and as a result the collection has a depth and breadth unlike any other collection.

We are a membership society but if you’d like to come to a talk and see if the society interests you, please consider attending as a guest. Guests can attend a maximum of 2 talks a year. There is a fee of $25 / $10 for students which includes wine, tea or coffee, sandwiches and something sweet, all served afterwards and enjoyed whilst talking to others and an opportunity to meet Natalia Murray.
