I Love Icebergs Workshop with Gabby O'Connor
1 Tennyson St, Napier
Suitable for ages 5 – 12 years.
Artist Gabby O’Connor will run a workshop that takes inspiration from her artwork, All the Colours, All the Light, that is currently in the foyer of MTG.
Gabby will talk about her work in Antarctica, with icebergs and the role of ice. The children would then have the chance to make and photograph collages, draw from our collages, and play with some photographic techniques using their own phone/digital camera or an iPad onsite in the classroom. The kids also have the chance to make a Bergy Bit using recycled paper and the staplers.
