We have two services on this day (10am & 12pm).

10.00 - 11.00am for the family.

12.00 - 3.00pm Three Hour Vigil - In the first hour, the congregation will walk the Stations of the Cross, images depicting events in the last hours of Christ’s life, leading up to the crucifixion. This follows the pattern of worship used by pilgrims in Jerusalem and offers prayers for the world.
At 1pm, the Choir and Cathedral Strings will offer a performance of Michael Myrick’s 2017 cantata ‘Last Words’, a moving encounter with the words spoken by Jesus from the cross. Scripture readings, congregational hymns, and a brief reflection follow each chorus. This is possibly the first New Zealand performance of this cantata which will be a powerful and memorable experience.
