Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

200 King Street South, Hastings

It’s magical, fantastical, it’s whimsy and delight! It’s music that stirs the imagination and transports the audience to another time, another place.

The Bay Cities’ Symphonic Band together with the Hastings Music Society, warmly invite you to join us on a musical journey the whole family will enjoy. With story-telling narrated by well-known local Ian Hunt, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ promises something for everyone - including dancing garden Gnomes, marching Trolls, mythical flying Piasa’s, Dragons, Bigfoot, the last of the Unicorns and more!

It will also be the first performance for the band’s incredible new Yamaha Vibraphone - a purchase made possible through generous funding from the Firstlight Foundation and sponsorship from MusicWorks Hastings.

So slip on your fairy wings, pop on your bigfoot slippers and we look forward to seeing you there - Dress up is encouraged and it’s the perfect activity for the last day of the school holidays. Plus there’s prizes for the best magical outfits!

Tickets only $5 at the door, children under 12 free
