Truffles and wine and all things devine

In 2020, we introduced the truffle weekend at Wallingford. Much oohing and ahhing from our truffle hunters, eaters and indulgers, farewell waves were accompanied by departing murmurings of 'more please', and so, for all of you hankering for a seriously sensory 'happening' and a deep-seated relax, we bring you the 2021 Truffle Weekends.

Each offering is fully catered for with 'events' schedules in; think a truffle inspired degustation menu, wine talks and tastings by the likes of Wilco Lam, Jenny Dobson and Sam Harrop, slow jazz on the verandah while you nature watch and tapas nibble, a truffle hunt and culinary deconstruction with Christopher.

Truffle Weekend Program

Friday
3:00pm - Check in and unpack
6:00pm - Say hello to fellow truffle goers and have aperitifs 
7:00pm - Meet the wine maker and sit down to a degustation dinner with matched wines from the winemaker's range

Saturday
9:00am - Breakfast - free day from 11:00am
3:00pm - 5:00pm - Jazz by Matt Mear and Will Sargisson in the garden accompanied by small plates
6:00pm - Tapas menu, communal feast

Sunday
8:30am - Truffle Hunt
10:30am - 12:00pm - Truffle cooking brunch class
1:00pm -  refresh, pack your bags and head home

Costs

The cost for the weekend is $825 per person based on twin share (en-suite room) or $625 per person based on twin share (communal bathroom)
