The 'Ōtāne Village Artisan Market - just off the beaten track' is an unincorporated community group administered by volunteer artisans with the purpose of encouraging and growing the handmade creativity of local designers, artists and craftspeople, through a carefully curated artisan market event on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Furthermore, it will leave a legacy by distributing surplus funds, firstly to emerging artisans and secondly, to other community initiatives.
