Just next door, Church Road Winery has been on the same Taradale site since 1897. This 3km stretch of iconic seafront connects Napier with the Pacific Ocean, and has developed into a mecca for family-friendly activities and a focal point for many city events and celebrations.

Marine Parade landmarks to experience include a bike pump track, the National Aquarium of New Zealand, a junior bike track, an expansive playground, BaySkate skate park, multiple gardens, Par2 Mini Golf, Napier iSite Visitor Centre, Pania of the Reef statue, an ocean viewing platform, the Ocean Spa complex, MTG (Museum Theatre Gallery) Hawke's Bay, and a tasty array of bars, cafes, restaurants, and ice-cream shops. A seaside path running the length of Marine Parade (and extending further north and south) is also popular among runners, walkers and cyclists. A must-do on any Hawke's Bay itinerary.
