Climb Sugar Loaf (Pukekura), a 127m hill above Taradale, for panoramic 360° views across Napier, the Heretaunga Plains and the Ruahine and Kaweka Ranges.
The 127m hill known as Sugar Loaf or Pukekura dominates the skyline of the western hills above Taradale.
From the summit the four hectare reserve boasts views over Napier and Taradale. Walkers can take an access track across the grazed pasture to the lookout. The walk is suitable for most ages and fitness levels and is roughly 5kms.
