It all started when my husband and I decided to get married, and when it came to looking for celebrants we were left a feeling uninspired.
After coming across a brilliant celebrant who was all for having fun and doing things how we wanted to do them a seed was planted. I was appointed as a celebrant in 2011 and although I would never have told you that when I grew up I wanted to be a celebrant, I have truly found my dream job being able to marry best friends, romantics and crazy kids in love.
When it comes to weddings, I believe that your ceremony really can be anything you want it to be. You and your guests should laugh, or shed a few tears because that's all part of being human. And most of all, your ceremony should reflect you as a couple and start the best of parties!
