A late night post party conversation was the seed for Paper, Scissors, Rock. A group show between dear friends; printmaker & painter, Katrina Alexandra, fibre artist Liv Worsnop & stone carver Tim Steel.
Each with a diverse lens, interpretation and process, they draw inspirations and materials from the different spaces in they kaitiaki in the local motu.
Through small sculptures, body adornment, fibre art, printmaking & painting, this exhibition converges in an assortment of celebrations, quiet questions and attentions to living in and on this land.
See a preview of these works at the opening evening, August 14th, 6pm at The Big Room, 202 Heretaunga St East. Join us for celebratory toast thanks to Decibel wines and Brave brewery. The show will be running until September 4th, 7 days a week with gallery hours & an artist talk TBC.
