Liver-targeted mRNA vaccine approach to improve immunotherapy outcomes in liver cancer.
Olivia Burn is a research fellow investigating liver cancer, which has one of the highest mortality rates of any cancer, in New Zealand and abroad.
From completing her PhD at the Malaghan and the University of Otago to training and gaining expertise at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, Dr Olivia Burn is now back in New Zealand developing liver- targeted mRNA vaccines to improve immunotherapy outcomes in liver cancer.
