Departing from Waipukurau Hop aboard the Spring Fling Flyer for a delightful short-haul heritage rail experience during the festival’s launch weekend.
Operating as charming shuttle excursions from Waipukurau, these trips offer a nostalgic journey to both Ōtāne and Takapau, connecting communities and celebrations along the line.
While at the station, don’t miss ‘Tracks through Waipukurau’, a platform exhibition celebrating 150 years of journeys, stories, and connection.
It is a fun, flexible, and scenic way to immerse yourself in the Spring Fling festivities while experiencing the golden age of rail.
TICKET INCLUDES: Exclusive heritage train travel (return shuttle rides).
