He Āria: Translating Meaning invites audiences behind the scenes of a groundbreaking project reimagining the 24 Italian Songs and Arias - foundational repertoire used to train classical singers around the world - in te reo Māori.
Through conversation, live demonstration and performance by Project Prima Volta, rangatahi discover how meaning is carried between languages and world views, and hear what happens when this familiar repertoire is experienced through te ao Māori.
