Be immersed in the history of the Gwavas Garden Homestead, its heritage garden and the ancient Puahanui Bush with fifth generation owners Phyllida and Stuart Gibson.

Begin with morning tea on the side lawn verandah before exploring the protected 132 hectare virgin bush, home to majestic totara, kahikatea and matai of over 600 years. After your bush walk, enjoy a leisurely lunch followed by a guided tour of the homestead. Then it is time to hit the stunning 9 hectare woodland garden with a guided tour highlighting the colours and scents of spring.
