We warmly invite you to join us for a delightful morning of music, conversation, and community, this month being hosted within our Functions on Hastings Space. Entry off Hastings street south.
Enjoy a relaxed morning tea while taking in live performances curated by local jazz musician and educator Chris Beernink.
This special series offers a chance to celebrate the joy of local music, reconnect with the charm and history of the Ballroom and share memories of the space.

JENNIFER MORETTE JACKSON & NATALIE MESZAROS – VIOLIN & PIANO DUO
Jennifer and Natalie first met while studying at the New Zealand School of Music, before life took them in different directions.
To their delight, they reconnected last year after discovering they both now call Napier home—and, as it turns out, live just down the road from one another. Since then, they've been making up for lost time by sharing as much music together as possible.
Jennifer is a violinist, performer and dedicated teacher who holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Violin Performance, along with several teaching qualifications. She has many years of experience performing and teaching students of all ages, and is passionate about helping each musician develop both technical confidence and artistic freedom.
Natalie is a pianist, accompanist and freelance musician whose performing career has spanned more than twenty years. A graduate of the New Zealand School of Music with a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours), she is passionate about sharing music that brings people together and believes in its power to enrich people's lives and strengthen communities.
Whether performing beloved classical works, imaginative arrangements of film and popular music, or uncovering lesser-known gems, Jennifer and Natalie are passionate about presenting concerts that are warm, engaging and accessible—welcoming audiences of all ages and musical backgrounds to experience the joy of live music.
