Russell Park

Get ready for the most vibrant morning of your year at the Spring Colour Dash – where the only rule is to have fun! This isn’t about speed, it’s about splashing through rainbows of joy with your loved ones.

Starting at Waipukurau’s Russell Park, you’ll follow a lively course along the scenic Rotary River Pathways, dodging (or diving into!) clouds of colourful powder*.
Each obstacle brings new laughs and unforgettable family moments. By the finish line, you’ll be transformed into a walking masterpiece – the more colourful, the better!

- Wear a white t-shirt – the colours show up best on white OR wear old clothes – colour powder may stain.
- Good footwear is essential – wear comfortable running shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
- Dress for the weather – layers for warmth, hat & sunscreen for sun etc.
- Use a phone cover or plastic bag – protect your phone from colour powder.
- Arrive early – allow time for parking, warm-up, and instructions.
- Bring water – stay hydrated.
- Bring a towel for after – to sit on in the car or wipe off excess powder.

Celebrate your rainbow victory with delicious eats from local food trucks, then relax and relish those priceless memories of pure, colourful chaos.

Wet weather postponement date - 19/10/2025
