Frimley Park
Celebrate beautiful Frimley Park at the annual Rose Sunday family day on Sunday 16 November! Bring the whole family and enjoy live music, face painting and bubble blowing for the kids, coffee, ice cream and of course, the beautiful roses. The Hastings Rose group will also be on hand to answer any of your gardening questions. Entry is free.
Frimley Rose Garden was officially opened on Sunday 26 November 1967 and its design was based on Kew Gardens in England. Starting with 4,000 rose bushes, it has grown to now hold over 5,500 roses. Frimley Park is widely known as an ‘Old English’ park and has a number of historic trees.
The Frimley Park playground next door to the Rose Gardens will keep the family busy with swings, slides, rope climbers, sandpit and path for scootering. This year there will be limited disability car parks available on Frimley Road to allow easy access to the front entrance of the park. Please ensure you have your mobility pass.
Don’t miss this relaxing family event, Sunday 16 November, 11am – 3pm
