Meet Matt Crowther – Your AI Workshop Facilitator
Matt Crowther, co-founder of Centaur AI, has spent over 20 years helping New Zealand businesses navigate change and embrace innovation. Based in Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay, he blends technical expertise with practical business insight to make AI adoption clear, useful, and sustainable.
Currently completing a Master’s in Technological Futures focused on AI adoption in NZ SMEs, Matt first discovered AI’s potential the moment he tried it, likening the experience to “stepping into an Iron Man suit, supercharging my thinking and creativity.” That moment sparked his mission to help others tap into AI’s benefits without the overwhelm.
Through Centaur AI, Matt, and his partner Mell, deliver practical, human-centred training for people who don’t see themselves as “tech people.” He bridges the gap between a business’s existing expertise and what AI can do to amplify it. His calm, methodical style ensures AI adoption is ethical, effective, and aligned with long-term goals.
