Learn the basics, all in one day!
Held at Creative Arts Napier in the bright and spacious workshop space.
In this Linocut for Beginners workshop you will discover the wide variety of options this medium offers. Suitable for absolute beginners or students who have previously tried some printmaking with lino.
Guided by Lisa from Ink Moth Print Studio, you will work on lino blocks to produce a limited edition of fine art prints. During the workshop you will explore a range of techniques for mark-making on lino, printing your own designs onto paper using an etching press.
If there’s time, we can also look at adding and playing with colour, including collage (chine colle), colour blending, and using collaged backgrounds.
Come and join in, have some fun and you may surprise yourself with what you can create!
