On the second Tuesday of most months Association Française de Hawke's Bay shows a French language film at Focal Point Cinema in Havelock North.
Focal Point Cinema offers a variety of items for purchase. Your admission includes nibbles of "des baguette et des fromages" pre-film, 6:00-6:30, courtesy of Association Française de Hawke's Bay. The film begins at 6:30 p.m.

Paris, je t'aime is about the plurality of cinema in one mythic location: Paris, the City of Love. 20 filmmakers have five minutes each; the audience must weave a single narrative out of twenty moments. The 20 moments are fused by transitional interstitial sequences and also via the introduction and epilogue. (Each film is in a different film genre and arrondissement of Paris with the common themes of Paris and... love throughout the film)
