Join us as three artists explore our relationship with place through photography, sculpture, and painting.
Fresh from a residency in Sardinia, Cathy Carter turns her lens to Mediterranean summer rituals: families staking out beach territories, visitors tracing limestone cliffs, and quiet moments where heat and leisure meet. Her new works echo the rhythms and tensions of coastal life, both familiar and far from home.
Based between Rarotonga and Aotearoa, Chauncey Flay presents his Seawall series, small sculptural blocks made from reclaimed coral, mastic, and cement. Beautiful, precise, and deeply considered, these works speak to a fragile ecosystem under pressure, giving discarded coral renewed dignity and presence.
Hawke's Bay emerging artist Chloe Streeter brings a joyful counterpoint with bright, sincere paintings of sun-drenched days by the pool. Playful on the surface, her work gently reflects on human behaviour and connection.
