UKU Clay Hawke's Bay

UKU Clay Hawke's Bay is a new biennial National Ceramic Award to be held in the Hawke's Bay region. It is a selected exhibition, showcasing the best work from approximately 50 ceramic artists from around New Zealand.

Ceramic artist John Parker has kindly agreed to be the first UKU Selector, exhibition designer and curator for 2018.

Submissions were sought from emerging and established artists throughout New Zealand.

Join the Selector and artists for the opening celebration on Friday 26 October, 5-7pm. Refreshments will be served.

Alongside the Uku opening, you can join the ceramic artists from their opening celebration of the 'Scratching the Surface' exhibition which will be on display in the Small Gallery.
