Nurture Our Tamariki Brainwave Trust Workshop
Civic Square, Warren Street, Hastings
Refer here for current advice on travelling to Hawke's Bay.
Join us for a free seminar by the Brainwave Trust to learn about the importance of healthy brain development in the early years, and how we as adults can help children reach their full potential.
Brainwave Trust Aotearoa aims to reach people with vital information on what is happening inside babies’ brains in the first critical years, and how this impacts on adulthood.
Their fresh, engaging and interactive seminar gives you up-to-date research from multiple disciplines including neuroscience, attachment, genetics, psychology and infant mental health. It aims to help build knowledge and understanding of the importance of early brain development and the lifelong impact this can have on children.
Participants will be given information that is likely to – affirm much of what you are already doing; encourage you to do some things differently; and, perhaps challenge some of the ways we think about young children, in order to help every child get the best start in life.
Free | Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Nau mai haere mai, everyone welcome.
Please register your interest for this session on the Hastings District Libraries website, phone 871 5000 or talk to staff at one of our libraries.
