Enjoy a refreshing morning walk through the village to the ocean (just follow the sound of the waves) or a stroll towards the Cape on Clifton Road to Clifton Cafe. The Rotary Pathway is at your doorstep with extended cycleways and walkways.
Envisioned with relaxation as a priority, the one-bedroom Cottage floor plan includes a bath with outdoor viewing and partially-enclosed decks to view the sun rising and setting with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
Local attractions include the Gannet Bird Colony at Cape Kidnappers, exclusive Cape Kidnappers Golf Course and the scenic Tukituki River Drive with vistas of Te Mata Peak.
Also located in Te Awanga are nationally acclaimed wineries and restaurants - Elephant Hill Winery/Restaurant, Clifton Cafe, Clearview Estate Winery. And for serious wine enthusiasts, there are an additional 30 vineyards located within a half hour drive!
The Cottages (Ilikai and Moana) will accommodate 2 persons each, with a choice of either a king-sized bed or two long-single beds. A roll-away slat bed is available for a third person. We are unable to cater for children under the age of 14.
