Take Five supports Hawkes Bay with it's extensive wine list and uses New Zealand organic produce whenever possible, ensuring you should not be disappointed with the tastes and flavours.
Take Five restaurant dining is intimate with the emphasis being on giving the customer time to enjoy the food and wine experience say Proprietors Peter Greene and Lesley Kingston. Along with this, the restaurant offers up live jazz every Friday and Saturday evening.
The Pacific Rim cuisine also has Mediterranean influences and always offers New Zealand lamb and beef as well as freshly caught Hawkes Bay fish. A vegetarian dish is always available and the chef's pasta of the day can often be a vegetarian option. Our menu changes seasonally so you get the best of what is available.
Desserts vary with the fruits in season, but chocolate is always on the menu in some form! Also our very popular medley, lots of little tastes for those who just can't make up their minds and Atomic coffee is served for a wonderful finale.
Local artists have their art for sale on the walls, displaying local scenes as well as impressions. Intimate wedding ceremonies have taken place by the splendid fireplace with either a glowing fire in the winter or fresh flowers in the summer. The upstairs dining area can be used for private or corporate functions and in fact the whole venue makes for a superb setting for any occasion.
