A piece of Hawke's Bay’s history has been resurrected after 35 years of solitude. The Old Church has been transformed into Hawke's Bay’s only Qualmark rated 5 star venue. Set amongst the vines, with a stunning aspect to the Ruahines, Kaweka’s and the setting sun, the unswerving attention to detail and luxurious décor make this a stunning Hawke's Bay landmark. The unique experience of The Old Church will be a memory to treasure for years to come.

We offer our beautiful outdoor courtyard surrounded by sculpted gardens to hold your wedding ceremony. Or if you would prefer (or the weather dictates), The Old Church restaurant provides a more traditional and equally as stunning setting to say “I do”. The Old Church restaurant can cater for up to 170 people for a seated meal or a cocktail reception for up to 300 guests with our conservatory providing the perfect space for your guests to dance the night away! Our excellent wait staff will ensure you and your guests are well looked after, so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
For smaller parties of up to 40 people, you may choose to hold your reception in the conservatory overlooking the vineyard.

Set menu prices will range from $75 per head (but the sky is the limit if you want to be completely extravagant!). This includes canapés served before dinner, a selection of entrees and main courses, desserts, tea and coffee. Liaising with our head chef and event manager, every detail will be confirmed before your special day so you can relax and enjoy!
