Hawke’s Bay is renowned for its vast array of fresh local produce, farmers markets and farm gates and artisan producers.

Asparagus, strawberries, apples, pears, olives are just some of the fresh produce grown locally throughout the year. Visitors can follow the food trail to meet directly with the growers or buy fresh from the boutique food stores dotted around the region. Food lovers can enjoy bespoke food tours or dine at one of the many award winning restaurants and cafes owned by some of New Zealand’s hottest culinary talent.
