Hawke's Bay Trails Guide

The Hawke's Bay Trails are made up of three national cycle trails linked together across 200+kms, providing a safe and not too strenuous way to cruise the coast or wobble your way around the wineries.

Beginner riders, keen cyclists, walkers and runners alike can enjoy the mainly off-road trails that let you take in the best of Hawke's Bay.

Pick your own route or choose from one of our themed rides that take in the Heretaunga Plains, and beautiful lowland rivers to endangered wetland wildlife and the sweeping Hawke's Bay coastline. Some say the best bits are the local distractions... you are never far from a cafe, winery, ice-cream or local artisan grower.

The Big Easy held every Easter is a "go-slow" cycling event held on the Hawke's Bay Trails - it's about the stopping as much as the riding! Check out the details at www.thebigeasy.co.nz
