Visit our websiteCoastal Wine Cycles, located in coastal Te Awanga, have classic beach-cruiser bicycles from California. They have wide, comfortable seats, swept-back handlebars, and oversize tires. Perfect for relaxing cycling. Enjoy the many wineries and scenic off-road routes of Havelock North, Hastings and Napier. No lycra, just cycling the way it was.
The cycling is flat, and whether you want to go for 30 minutes or 6 hours, we’ve got the trail for you.
Cycle Trails:
- Sea, wine, and dine: An easy pedal along the coast focusing on great wine and food. Four wineries & Clifton Cafe. 1 hour cycling.
- The Coast & River Loop: Our favourite ride, take in the coast, village, lagoon, river, vineyards, orchards, farmland, and of course the wineries. 2 hours cycling.
- The Big Easy: Cruise from Havelock North on the cyclepath down the Tuki River overlooking the orchards and vineyards of the Heretaunga plains, and out to the coast at Haumoana and Te Awanga. Lots of wineries. 3.5 hours cycling return.
