Visit our websiteTo many people Terroir is an elusive and romantic French term, frequently used to describe the inherent characters of soil, climate and culture, as reflected in a wine or the food from a particular vineyard or region.
At Craggy Range, the restaurant is called “Terrôir” – its name reflecting that its food, the vineyard’s wine and its culture, come together sublimely, in a unique and dramatic setting. This French term is frequently used to describe the inherent characters of soil, climate and culture, as shown in wine or food from a particular place. With an emphasis on local produce, Terrôir sources Hawke’s Bay’s finest meat, produce and seafood from the region’s land and sea, providing fabulous New Zealand cuisine matched with superb single vineyard wines.
Each dish is prepared sensitively and cooked by skilled people who are passionate about quality food, presented in a style which is simple and real.
'A meal as close as you can get to perfection'
