Where did they shop?

Their culinary challenge took place at Hawke's Bay Farmers Market which also happens to be New Zealand's first ever Farmers Market. Held every Sunday rain or shine at the Hawke's Bay Showgrounds, the market showcases some of Hawke's Bays finest fresh produce. Come along and meet the grower, producer or maker and talk with them about their products. See, touch, smell and taste the good and buy them knowing they are super fresh. There is hot freshly roasted coffee and a choice of breakfast fare to feed the body whilst the senses take in the live music and cooking aromas.

How did they get there?

They were flown to the Farmers Market in a helicopter courtesy of Bay Heliworx.  Bay Heliwork offer a variety of helicopter excursions starting rom $90 per person. Where did they cook?

The action took place on the deck of Elephant Hill Estate Winery, one of Hawke’s Bay’s newest wineries. Situated in the pretty village of Te Awanga with views looking across to the Pacific Ocean to Cape Kidnappers. Their award winning restaurant is outstanding and they can include 6 gold medals at the prestigious 2011 Sydney International Wine Competition and the 2010 Air New Zealand Wine Awards to thier accolades.
