Vegetable Fermentation Workshop

Farmhouse Kitchen offers a hands-on workshop where you can learn all about making health-promoting fermented foods, including sauerkraut and more.

You will be able to taste some delicious fermented foods and take away your creations as well as lots of recipes and tips to try at home. You will be making the following vegetable ferments: sauerkraut, ginger carrots, ketchup, beetroot kvass.

Farmhouse Kitchen Cooking School is where you can come and learn to cook using the finest and freshest local, seasonal produce. We keep our classes small (up to 12 people) and each of the classes will provide you with learning the tips and techniques to recreate the dishes in your own home.

All you need to bring is your culinary interest, a sense of humour, and a healthy appetite. Price per person includes ingredients and jars. For more info and bookings visit our website.
