F.A.W.C! Goat Cheese Making Workshop
Who doesn’t love goat cheese? Creamy and slightly tart, it’s one of life's great inventions. This is your opportunity to learn how to wow your friends at your next dinner party by serving up your very own homemade goat cheese. Using fresh goat’s milk from Tukituki Dairy Goats Farm, Pauline from Farmhouse Kitchen will teach you in this hands-on workshop how to make goat halloumi, feta and chèvre before you sit down to a two-course goat cheese ‘themed’ lunch, washed down with a glass of local Hawke’s Bay wine.
$120 includes goats cheese made in workshop, plus an organic unbleached draining cloth, thermometer and rennet for future cheese making, two course lunch plus a glass of wine.
F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic is the hottest festival on New Zealand’s culinary calendar. We’ve turned the idea of traditional food festivals on their head by creating a series of events that are refreshingly different. With more than 75 delectable events over 10 glorious days, F.A.W.C! is a celebration of all things food and wine in Hawke’s Bay. Life doesn’t get better than this.
