You can’t beat curling up with a mulled cider when it’s cold outside!
Our good friends at Zeffer Cider Co have shared with us their secret recipe for the perfect mulled cider to warm the cockles of your heart this winter.
2L Zeffer Apple Crumble Cider
10g Brown Sugar
1 Orange, sliced
2 Cinnamon Sticks
2 Star Anise
Fill a slow cooker or pot with Zeffer's Apple Crumble Cider (recommended 2 x 1L Flagons).
Add the sugar, orange slices, cinnamon sticks and star anise.
Cover and gently heat until the flavour melds - leave for 1-2 hours on low or warm. Do not allow to boil.
Serve in a glass or mug garnished with additional orange slices and a cinnamon stick.
