Fishing and Hunting
Hawkes Bay has world class trout fly fishing and we have great guides. The key to superior fishing is access on to private land and because of our rural connections, we are fortunate to have access to large tracts of private land on all our lovely rivers. We offer local fishing also wilderness fishing including jet boat, raft and helicopter. Overnight trips available.

Our Maori guides are extraordinary people, proud to share their culture and heritage. Experience a spiritual welcome into the world of Maori. Talk with these remarkable people on their own land and become involved in their lives and villages. Enjoy their sense of fun, their natural musical ability, their connection with their land and their whakapapa (lineage) They have fascinating stories which they love to share and these alongside the things that are important to them highlight the spirit of Maoridom.
Gardens and Parks
We offer garden tours in the Hawkes Bay area. We visit large country gardens and smaller urban gardens. Spring is a particularly lovely time to visit these gardens but they are available all summer.
Food and Wine Tours
Become absorbed into the world of Hawkes Bay wine – talk with the personalities who are passionate about crafting world class wines from our soils. Visit some of the best of our wineries and taste their award winning wines. A highly enjoyable fun day. We have a special Syrah tour and a weekend Women and Wine tour. Our food growers are producing delicious products. We will visit orchards and artisans tasting their products. Join us for a half or full day.
