Restaurant
The Clearview Estate Winery Restaurant sits among the vines in a well-established coastal setting near Cape Kidnappers. Specialising in brunches, lunches, weddings and functions, the comprehensive seasonal menu features inspired and creative dishes using Hawkes Bay Wine Country produce.
Our Chefs make innovative use of fine local meat, poultry, dairy, seafood and seasonal produce. These are combined with fresh herbs, olives, citrus and avocados from the estate gardens. Breads and desserts are baked daily on the premises and the superb coffee is roasted locally by Hawthorne.
There are long private tables amongst the grapevines for groups, shaded tables in the courtyards and a more casual drinks or dining area in the seaside children's playground area. For cooler months Clearview has a huge log fire and inside seating for 100.
Accommodation in The 'Winemaker's Cottage'
Rustic self-contained 4 bedroom accommodation in the vines 500 metres from Clearview Restaurant and walking distance through the vineyard to the beach at Te Awanga. This is the ideal relaxing location to stay and unwind, and enables you to explore nearby Cape Kidnappers and Art Deco Napier.
Functions
We specialise in small, quality weddings and events for up to 60 people with individual menus and detail. Depending on the dates, the winery is available from 5pm - 11.30pm, enabling you to hold your wedding service in the vineyard, olive grove or on the beach if you wish.
