Q: Do you have a travel package should we want to participate?
A: We have a travel package available, which includes return air fares from Napier to Shanghai, 10 nights accommodation in 4/5 Star hotel which include breakfast, transportation from airport to hotel, everyday transportation from hotel to 2010 Expo venue and 7 days group Expo tickets.

Q: How long does it take to travel from the accommodation to the Expo venue?
A: Please note, in non traffic jam, it is 40 minutes journey.

Q: What is the weather in Shanghai during Hawkes Bay Week?
A: The temperature in Shanghai in August averages minimum 20 ํC – maximum 35 ํC, and is quite humid.

Q: Can we sell our frozen products in the retail shop outside the NZ Pavilion?
A: No. The retail shop is not able to sell frozen products during Shanghai 2010 Expo.

Q: How can I find a potential business partner in China?
A: For local companies, we recommend you to talk to NZ Trade & Enterprise, they can provide advice. They have a base in Shanghai to help Kiwi companies who wish to export to or import from China.

Q: How much will it cost if we want to participate during Hawkes Bay week?
A: The travel package is at your expense. It is free of charge to use NZ Pavilion VIP area including food and beverage. You have the opportunity to invite your business partners to have dinner in the VIP area.

Q: How much has been funded by government to built NZ pavilion in Shanghai Expo?
A: $30 million has been funded by government.

Q: How many people are expected to visit the New Zealand Pavilion over the Expo’s 6 months?
A: 40,000 people a day, mostly from China.

Q: What is the theme of the NZ pavilion at Shanghai 2010 Expo?
A: Cities of nature, living between land and sky. Oceania month is August.

Q: What does NZ pavilion design include?
A: Its design includes a floating glass Perspex canopy and a roof-top garden. The middle of the 
    garden will feature a Rotorua-style geyser and thermal garden, and plants will vary from those
    found in New Zealand’s mountainous regions to coastal plants.

Q: How many people can fit in VIP area at NZ Pavilion?
A: VIP function area: cocktail functions for 100 people, sit down dining for up to 40 people,
    Seminars, exhibitions, presentations. Guests can be served tasting plates, lunch or dinner. 
   
     VIP Formal Dining: VIP dining or meeting for 12 people, guest hospitality, presentation,  
     meetings.
 
     VIP access to Visitor Experience: As part of VIP hospitality packages, and to avoid long 
     queues, VIP access to the New Zealand pavilion Visitor Experience will be provided.

Q: How many countries and international organisations taking part Shanghai 2010 Expo?
A: Around 191 countries and 50 international organisations taking part.
